This is a very hard post to write but Tommy is currently in the hospital. I believe that to face things straight on and be honest and upfront is the best way to deal with any challenges that you face. Tommy is having a rough time right now. As most of you know he's FIV+ and that lowers his immune system and can cause other complications. One of which is the virus can get into the bone marrow and attack the red blood cells. This causes severe anemia and is very serious. This is what we believe is happening right now in Tommy’s body.  He is in the hospital being monitored and treated. He has undergone one blood transfusion but might require more than one. We are doing all we can to get him back on his paws and we believe this is just another bump in the road. He has overcome so much and with his strength and your love and prayers we know he will overcome this as well. We wanted to let all of you know what is happening and why he will not be making an appearance at Catcon this year. It saddens us greatly that all of you who have looked so forward to meeting our champion and his Lady Love Daisy won’t be able to. But his health is of course the important thing in the world to us and we are sure, to you as well. Our friend Mick who is the dad to @theklauscat and @thejunocat has graciously offered to any ticket holders of the meet and greet with Tommy that you can come meet Juno and Klaus (who are both awesome felines) or @catconworldwide has offered a full refund of your ticket price. We are also bringing the little gift Tommy and Daisy had for the ticket holders and those will be given out this weekend.
