An educational photo and a sad commentary. It really does seem that life is a lottery. Born in the “right” place or the “wrong” place. Know the “right” people or not. Trump’s wives were immigrants, along with their families. Trump has employed “illegal immigrants “ willing to do whatever work necessary for whatever pay possible. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could understand that we are all human, we are all impacted by the environment, and look at ways to make things better? People wouldn’t flee countries where they have food, water, opportunities and are free of war. What if instead of blocking immigration the focus changes to helping other countries develop resources and education? What if instead of supporting decisions that benefit the top 1%, the focus changes to decisions that promote the maximum benefit to the largest number of people?

I just don’t understand how people can see a small child clutched by a father who both probably have had very little food and safety and still make negative comments. I get you might not support illegal immigration but why do some people have to comment such horrendous things. You can just not say anything and your views don’t change. All I see is a poor toddler who has no idea what’s going on or why he is hungry.

@davealmaguer a fair number of negative comments seem to be bot accounts. Don’t forget that there is an active social media campaign by more than one foreign government to divide Americans. Look at the accounts before having an emotional reaction against all republicans. I’m trying to remind myself to do that.
