aeomg I just finished a four day trek through the Sierra Nevada mountains in Colombia. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. I listened to your music through 30 miles of hiking and even explained your song otherside in Spanish to one of the locals who was with me. Even though our struggles were different, incredibly different, your words are so profound. Your look on life is one that is so beautiful and meaningful. I asked the local if he could hear the pain in your voice, and he said yes. I asked if he could hear the hope in the chorus, and he said yes. It’s that sincerity and honesty that crosses language that is truly powerful. Your gift to this world is a blessing. I’m so glad that 26 year old figured it out. Thank you for everything.
