Edu is one of the core players. missing him means adjusting everything at the last minute: player rotation and ball movement. even offense and defense needs to change. all their tune-ups and trainings they relied on Edu so they also need to adjust mentally. Edu plays a very major/crucial role to the team. losing him is like losing 20% of their original strength. they are now at their 80% at best. also im talking about the competition it doesnt matter which bracket. im just comparing how batang Gilas got beaten by China before and now China is getting toss around like rag dolls. means competition is real tough even for the team that beat batang Gilas. and for team US, of course they can beat every team there.

Back in Fiba Asia China beat PH and look at China now. they lose by 50+ points in both matches.PH barely survives with 10-5 points difference in all quarters and eventually lose the game.
