Dearest Air Canada,
What a happy Canada Day you gifted us with, what a trip this has been! Having saved up all year to finally visit our family in Scotland, you definitely made this a memorable one!
Not only were we delayed for 9 hours, causing us to miss our connecting flight, and then also being delayed upon our return to Montreal, you also dazzled us with the loss of our luggage, giving us no satisfaction or real help for our two week Scotland trip, causing much emotional distress, grand loss of time and energy, and no gifts for all our family members, nor the right attire for special family functions!
I am sure British Airways was just tickled with pleasure when you decided to dump all this on them when you decided to ship us off to London; all they did was try to accommodate us in London and get us to Edinburgh as fast as possible, because as your help desk in Montreal told us, oh relax, so you missed your flight, there’s flights from London to Scotland every hour ... 3 hours later ...
We also further thank your help desk, that after innocently asking if it would be possible to have an upgrade to try and have a restful flight after all this, we were essentially told to suck it up and were then stuck behind a wall, in the center row, by the toilets.
Being teachers, large trips like this take lots of sacrifice and savings throughout the year, let alone everything that you kindly lost for us; thank-you for being understanding of that!

3 hour delay on tarmac AC1900 to Athens (10 hour flight plus delays)...waiting for catering mixup. Pilot said ‘for obvious reasons we could not leave without food as this would be a health issue’. I’m a vegan. Our pre-ordered vegan meal was not available due to the mixup. This was known and it was left as basically “too bad. Sorry. We could not wait for your meal and have lettuce for you”. So, the moral of the story is Air Canada is fine with discrimination...vegans ‘health issues’ are not important. Thanks Air Canada!

Flying Air Canada for the first time and it’s been a horror. Flying from Newark to Vancouver and the flight was delayed over 3 hours because of thunderstorms. The weather was not bad and it didn’t rain so why the delay? Got to the airport early and find out that the flight crew is stuck in traffic coming from NYC. WTH! I came early from NYC to make my flight so why couldn’t the professionals do the same. So disappointed with Air Canada

Air Canada cancelled my flights that I bought since February and tickets that I purchased for my son and other family members since March to have Fernando from the Montreal call centre hung up in my face because the Airline violated my rights. Fernando is focused on disconnected the call more than providing a resolution. Air Canada have violated my rights. I need help please.

Maybe take pride in the state of your aircraft. Our flight on AC33 scheduled 13.07 was disgraceful. Worst airline I’ve ever experienced in 45 years. Never again. We loved Canada and will find another way there! I don’t need your 14.5 hours direct for that kind of an experience thanks
