Your vocals recently came to mind in a very transformative weekend for me. I recently went to a woman's retreat and the theme for the weekend was based on this story about an old woman who to the village seemed a little off...she was always running around collecting the bones of a wolf. And when she had collected all the pieces and laid them out, she sang a song over the old bones and they began to rattle and shake and they came to life in the form of this wolf which began to run and then it transformed into a woman who kept running--beautiful, whole and complete and free. We spent the weekend in workshops "collecting" our old bones, things we had shed away and lost sight of that were important parts to our beings--our peace, our courage, our strength, our motivation--at the end of the weekend, we passed a wolves tooth around and shared our "bones" in a circle. Once complete, we then sang over our bones--or spoke, or howled....whatever came to us at this moment and felt right--singing over them, in a modern way, was really just speaking our truths and commiting to not losing sight of them...not losing sight of ourselves. I imagined the vocal 'oh' at the beginning of I Miss The Misery....shaking these bones into existence! Your powerful vocals inspire the wolf in me to be loud and to keep on, keepin on. One of the things said at this weekend was how when we are given gifts, it's our responsibility to share them with the world and I couldn't be more thankful that you chose to share your gift, that you gave yourself to us (the world) so selflessly through your music and continue to share and lead and to inspire. And for me in particular, that you keep my bones rattling.❤️

I've never heard a vocalist rip it so hard ? and you're even better live. ? One thing I havent seen though is in your room; what is one thing that keeps you grounded in there that you will never let go of? Or something you cant leave on tour without? What is your favorite thing to do outside of the music industry? I want to know what inspires that brain of yours ✌❤️

My best friend is taking me to the Slipknot concert for my birthday here in Phoenix. Her birthday is at the end of October. She absolutely loves you. Can I get something from you to give to her for her birthday? A signed poster? Guitar pick? Perhaps a cameo? ?
