Proof that I am serious about orchestral music. This was the cello I used for my HAPPY JACK demo recording. Thanks to matt Kent for this OZ magazine offshoot. .

@yaggerdang Love your drumming on the "Who Came First" era stuff. Especially "Pure And Easy" and "Seeker". Fantastic feel and groove. And what a SOUND. That snare. So crisp in its way. Really puts those recordings over the top for me. Just fantastic Pete. Amazing what you achieved with so relative little on those tracks. Always made the most out of whatever you had at hand. I'll stop gushing now as you've heard it all before ad infinitum BUT hats off to you sir. Thank YOU.

Pete, I love it. Love the Cello. I went to Queens College in N.Y.C. Very classical based program. I was diverted tho by Rock and Roll. I do still feel conected by my Elp tribute band with Bartock, Copeland, Debusy, et all. Love that Rachel can do it too! ❤

I know they are entirely different, but King Rabbit struck me as Happy Jack-ish. Happy Jack is certainly a different type of music then lots of the other stuff back then. It sure stood out. I just love the opening transition too.

I love the story of the "Cellos" in A Quick One. Is it true that for the tight schedule and the tight of the budget there was no chance to use real cellos? I adore the singing ones is way ahead of its time.
