Some say that its large white-colored spathe resembles the collar of nun’s. In South Africa, some call it ”Varkoor” which means ’Pig’s Ear’. In many English-speaking countries, it is known as Calla Lily because it is white like a lily. In flower language, it has many definitions, such as ”beauty”, ”clean” and ”the quietness of the shrine maiden”.
