...and that's the tea. ☕️ 🇺🇸🇬🇧😂 U.S. women’s national soccer star Alex Morgan scored the second goal against England during the FIFA Women’s World Cup semifinal and celebrated with a move that had Twitter positively chuffed: She pantomimed sipping tea. // 📸: Associated Press // #USAvENG #ENGUSA #FIFAWWC2019 #USWNT

@gary_squirrel Have we met? Do you know my qualifications? I have actually been reading MRIs of the brain for over 13 years.... my guess is you pulled a stock photo and don’t know that you pulled an abnormal one... There is clearly an abnormality on that scan. As I said, it’s a small photo but appears consistent with a meningioma. There is nothing “adorable” about my professional abilities. Your profile says something about you getting blocked and getting the last word, so I suspect you just like picking random fights on Instagram. You take care ??

@tommyjessicagenevepatrick oh you know so much about me off of one little comment. I’ve traveled all over Europe, the US (been to 44 of the states), Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. I have been to England three times, had a historian for a father, a travel agent and college instructor for a mother (who quite literally quizzed me on world capitals as a kid because she was horrified how little her college students knew). Replace Brits with English and I was spot on. Brits is more fun to say, but you clearly know nothing about fun!

@shellyharrison80 Respect is earned, not given. Our girls played like beasts and they deserve to celebrate every single win. Her gesture of sipping on tea is hilarious. If England had won, you seriously think they wouldn’t have made any gestures? Everyone who’s crying over the tea sipping needs to calm down. This is a competitive sport like any other and these women have brought the fire! LFG USA!! @alexmorgan13 Sip that tea all day long, you certainly deserve it! What a way to celebrate your birthday!! ???❤️

The U.S. women’s soccer team happens to the best in the world, but the behavior on show lacked the class that we associate with top tier professionals. Their actions presented the United States in the worst possible light — bullies, cruel and ruthless.

@kristinazinz Don’t celebrate or feel proud when these “tacky” women win! You stay home and pretend to be a radiologist while the rest of gay party and recognize that their skills are more memorable than anything else. Good luck with Aaron Rodgers. I hear he doesn’t like frigid blondes.

@garrison_peep Honey it’s a joke, many many players have done worse. I could never be so upset at a player for making a simple gesture.... that’s what you’re upset at— a tea gesture. And I’m black woman so... no I didn’t vote for him ??
