世界的な傾向で、新築の物件の総面積が小さくなってきています。デザイナーとしては限られた面積のなかでどのように有効でかつ使い易い空間が創造できるのかの知識とクリエイティビティが益々試されるようになってきました。多様目的で使用できる部屋、収納可能なスペースの作りかたなど、チャレンジは色々です。2020-2021のインテリアトレンドの記事から考えさせられました。数々のプロジェクト写真の出典もこちらから。

Global trends tell us that the total area/square footage of newly built properties is getting smaller. The knowledge and creativity of an effective yet easy-to-use space is testing us the designers. There are various challenges, such as how to make a room used in multiple purposes or how to create storage space as much as possible. I was inspired by reading the article of 2020-2021 interior design trends (the link above) . All project photos came from the article.
