After scoring the game-winning goal against England in the World Cup semifinals, US forward Alex Morgan stopped to sip an imaginary cup of tea ☕️ Morgan's celebration was criticized by some but lapped up by others — notably Hillary Clinton, who tweeted, "Congrats to the #USWNT for earning that tea." @アレックス・モーガン said after the game that the celebration was a response to the criticism her team has received during the tournament. Prior to Tuesday's clash, England coach Phil Neville had questioned the "etiquette" of the American team after officials visited his team's hotel. "I wanted to keep it interesting," she told reporters. "I feel like we didn't take an easy route through this tournament and 'that's the tea.'" The US Women's National Soccer team clenched a 2-1 victory over England on Tuesday, and now the defending champions have advanced to the finals ⚽️ #WorldCup (📸: Philippe Desmazes/AFP/Getty Images and Jean-Philippe Ksiazek/AFP/Getty Images)

Instead of worrying about team celebrations why don’t we get upset about climate change, or Corrupted political leaders, or trying to end hunger. I just think it is ridiculous that people are making such a big deal about a goal celebration, honestly most of these celebrations are spare of the moment and are not to be directed to be mean or rude, the team is just happy they got a goal. So people stop worrying about the USA women’s soccer team’s goal celebrations and actually worry about topics that are a lot critical.

@alexmorgan13 , your behaviour is not fair play. You can sip an Imaginary cup of tea but you will never feel the magic of celebrating drinking a real cup. It's the pleasure of the english. ?

It’s a youthful expression and Sophie Turner does it on IG all of the time. She’s only imitating one of her favorite actresses and that’s the tea.

I think the overblown antics gettin the way of the game... especially celebrating 13 goals to none... This is what people dislike Americans.

@alexmorgan13 displayed typical American arrogance and poor sportsmanship. Hmm kind of like Hope Solo. Too bad they’re in the finals.
