required reading for the second half of 2019 📚 I try to read this book at least a couple times a year if i can. It shifts my perspective on art and why we make it in the best way. It can be really easy to lose sight of the real reason we create in the first place, and I’m definitely finding myself overdue for a reminder.

I also recommend Turn Your Pain Into Art by @arielforhire. It's part memoir, part self-help. The second part also has lines to write in for some exercises. It's a fantastic read.

I have the audiobook, listen regularly. He reads it with enthusiasm and energy (maybe helped by 1.5x speed)
