joshuaevanepstein I love you, Mark. Luke Skywalker feels like part of my family. My dad owned movie theaters when I was a kid. I’d spend weekends watch movies over and over again. I saw Star Wars in a private screening for exhibitors, like I did for most films for nearly 20 yrs. I lost count on how many times I watch Star Wars at his theater when it was actually released. I know I saw Jaws 18 times over the course of 2 weekends (and to this day I can’t go into water where I can’t see my feet touching the sand. So I know I saw Star Wars even more times. Unfortunately, because of @RianJohnson’s butchering of The Last Jedi, George Lucas’s galactic vision, and the Star Wars universe in general, I’ll never see anything he’s ever involved with again. @jjabramsofficial’s Force Awakens was a love letter to fans, and obviously created by someone who loved the original trilogy as much as any Star Wars fan. Rian’s Last Jedi felt like it was written by someone who hated the trilogy, thought he could do it better, and decided to burn the place down. I’m surprised you’re even working with him again. Hopefully, @jjabramsofficial Xian’s mess and ended the 3 “Skywalker” trilogies in a spectacular fashion.

Then there are other people who walk out literally saying ‘it’s the worst movie I’ve ever seen.’ Having those two extremes is the mark of the type of movie that I want to make.” this attitude is why that guy shouldn't be allowed to make movies for any existing franchise

jimmydinerothelegend We not mad at Rian for ruining star wars . We're mad because he ruined star wars and was OKAY with it. Like the guy legit ruined star wars and was proud and tried to talk down on people for not liking the movie like he was better or smarter then them (obviously a snobby ?head)

fireresq7b Sorry @hamillhimself you’re a good man for supporting RJ but I just hate what he did to StarWars. It’s the only movie I skip when binge watching the Saga. My wife and I still cant believe Lucas film let this happen. I won’t be supporting this film! All the best to him.

kylorenbensolo Last Jedi was a cinematic failure and a failure in characterization and creativity but this is a different film and more Johnson’s style. He should never do a Star Wars film again. There wasn’t enough creativity in his film or any of the Disney films thus far.

andrew_is_here._ Language now Captain America, but this cast looks Phenomenal! I'm so excited to see it just by this amazingly put together trailer! I also wonder what that backing track is, it really gives off an actiony mystery vibe.
