Today as the earthquake hit us in LA I got a call that my friend Eva had passed. She was special person who survived so much evil and yet refused to let that define her. She travelled the world teaching forgiveness. She texted me a few days ago saying she was going back to Auschwitz AGAIN on another mission to educate people and teach forgiveness. We met a few years ago and she told me she would like to adopt me as her son. She knew my story. As sad as today is I can like so many be happy, proud and joyful that Eva came into our lives. Travel safe sweet lady. SOME IMPORTANT INFO ON EVA♥️ Eva Mozes Kor was a Romanian Holocaust survivor. Along with her twin sister Miriam, Kor was subjected to human experimentation under Josef Mengele at the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. She lost both of her parents and two older sisters to the Holocaust; only she and Miriam survived. ❤️ PS. She would give me a stern talking to about these tears in my eyes.

I’m Scottish and both my parents fought in WW11 Dad in the Royal Navy at age 19 and Mum sent to Wales her job lining up predictors to shoot at enemy aircraft. I’m the youngest of 4 children and the only girl. My Dad thought it was important that I’d learn about the war. Every Sunday there was a tv programme called “The World at War” although I was only about 10 I understood on my own level. Years latter I’d ask my Mum about the concentration camps and was amazed when she said the people here in the UK didn’t know about these horrific places until after the war. I discovered years ago that our government DID know and the head of The Jewish people had begged Churchill to bomb the railway tracks that took these poor souls to Auschwitz. I’ve no idea why but Churchill refused. I’ve visited Dachau concentration camp and was shocked by the things I’ve seen. I’ve also visited Anne Franks house in Amsterdam again I was amazed that so many people could live in such a small place for years only to be captured several months before the end of the war. I’m not Jewish I just wish people would treat others the way they’d like to be treat’ed their selfs. ?????????????????????

Im so truly worry to hear of your very special persons lose. Once in a lifetime we get blessed with certain people that change our lives and helps us see more of the good that still exists. She shared a very horrific and sad time in her life with you . There was something special about you to her . You gave her light , peace and love that she needed . You helped her heal in alot of ways , you both gave eachother a gift . The gift she gave you is to continue to stay strong and the gift you gave her is beyond friendship but family she really did love you like a son. Your blessed . You will forever keep that in your heart to be treasured always . I feel that you should write some kind of book on her , her experiences, who she later became and what she turned her pain in to . She helped educate people and teach them forgiveness. She sounds like a truly extraordinary lady who should be shared . And to see you as a famous rocker do this , to see that touched side from you . I truly think it would be successful. When i feel things i say them so forgive me . Hey your first book you can autograph it to me ! Sorry again for your loss . Xoxoxoxo

When I lived in France, I had an honour to meet this old gentleman who'd been taken to Auschwitz at the age of 15 together with his father and older brother. The horrors he told were something I'll never forget. His father's last words to him were: you must survive, your mother needs you. And he did survive. After 3 years of torture, humiliation, hunger, death he returned back home. Eventually he married a German girl who had left Germany because holocaust was too much for her. It took decades since he returned to Auschwitz. He was truly remarkable gentleman. Full of life.

@jennonair I just posted to Nikki's account. You guys were so wonderful to her when she came to the show. I am the editor (i.e. the person behind the scenes that rarely gets acknowledged) of the film we did on Eva. You met Ted Green while she was there. We just won seven Emmy awards along with several film festival honors for the film. I actually did the concert spot as for Motley Crue thirty years ago so this was a weird crossing if paths. If you would like a link to the film or a DVD just PM me

Nikki, I know you won't see this but this is how weird paths cross. Thirty plus years ago I worked for a company called TourDesign and I created all the radio, television advertising for Motley Crue. For the past three years I have been editing "Eva: A-7063" @thestoryofeva for which we just won seven Emmy awards for. You meant a lot to Eva even though it was for a very brief time. Thank you for your kindness that you showed to her. If you need a link to the film just PM me.
