“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.” Unfortunately there are many people in West Michigan who have been deceived about this inhumane and mutilating amputation procedure by declawing veterinarians and misguided people in the animal rescue business.😾😾 They are attacking us on our City the Kitty Facebook page with very strange and angry comments and reviews. 🙀
This shows us why we MUST keep getting the facts and truth out about declawing. #Educate
.
We believe that eventually these folks will start to think for themselves and will do some research about declawing and finally realize that they've been had. 😾😼
Please keep educating the public and remember to always take the high road and be respectful no matter how the pro-declaw side treats you.
Please take 60 seconds and sign our petition to these West Michigan declawing vets that’s on our Instagram bio.

@linds_leeman No, if a cat is "tearing up the house" the answer isn't to maim them for life. Do you also condone amputating the fingers of children with behavioural issues? In such a case as you describe, the owner either needs to work on the behavioural issues or, if they are unable or unwilling, rehome the cat. Crippling a previously healthy living being because you (general you) are unable to provide proper care or a suitable living environment should never be an option.

@tosaynothingofthecat I understand that. But there are pros and cons cons is that the kitty could have to amputate the paw pros are if your cat already has behavioral issues and is tearing up your house and putting other people at risk then declawing is better than isolating the kitty, I'm not saying that I would do that to my cat but I understand both sides???

@linds_leeman No, they're not. Inflicting lifelong pain and disability on a helpless being who depends on you for everything is cruel no matter whether they're a human, a cat or any other species. If you think that non-human animals don't suffer as much as humans, or that their suffering matters less, please educate yourself.

@linds_leeman Declawing is only good for humans. It doesn't benefit cats in any way - on the contrary, it causes medical and behavioural issues that often lead to declawed cats being abandoned. In my country, it is classified as animal abuse.

People will do anything now days to try and make someone mad. What you are doing is amazing , and also you are saving cats and giving a voice to them. Just know that you are amazing. And don't let anyone tell you different.❤️??

Without any facts or supporting arguments behind her claim (as most informed & educated folks would’ve done), sadly, she looks like the uneducated moron here. Not trying to go negative, just an observation.
