My flight DL 6019 from DCA to LGA got significantly delay (9 hours excessive waiting time) today (7/5/2019). It supposed to take off at 3:30 PM. I was told the flight got delayed due to NYC weather at 2 pm. All passengers waited at DCA for over 5 hours without a clear announcement if the flight would be cancelled. At 7pm, all passengers boarded onto the plane, and the plane got grounded until now (10:30pm). No water, no food, again, no clear message early on when everyone boarded if it would be cancelled. All passengers have been waiting on plane for 3.5 hours, plus 5 hours at airport. The captain just announced (10:20pm) that everyone has to wait for a while (30+ minutes) for a gate to open up. Now the customer service phone call waiting time is 3.5 hours. I request a refund for the ticket for flight 6019 and a free rebook to a flight from DCA to NYC. If additional hotel expense is incurred, I request hotel expense to be refunded as well. I will be taking a screen shot of my comment. If this complaint is not dealt reasonably and timely, it is a violation to Delta internal complaint handling policy and procedures as well as violation to consumer protection regulations. Please provide reasonable response ASAP.

Horrible horrible experience today on Delta! The worst travel experience of my life. We were delayed 3 hours after we boarded in NY en route to CDG because first the food didn’t arrive on the plane then there was a plane blocking us so we couldn’t pull out of the gate then there was traffic on the tarmac then we sat in silence for an hour. We missed our connecting flight to Ibiza and the flight attendants told us that there would be an attendant waiting for us when we got off the plane to help us. Nobody was there. We ran to our next flight in another terminal hoping to make it but we missed it. We had to pay for a whole new flight to Ibiza and we were stuck in the Paris airport for 12 hours!! Then our next flight was delayed two hours. We’ve been traveling for over 24 hours. This has been a horrific experience. And Delta is being less than understanding and accommodating saying they “did their job. They got us to Paris.” And offered us a $150 travel voucher to use on another flight. Insulting.

MCO - JFK July 6th flight 2822
The flight was delayed for several times due to weather conditions in NY. Ok, later in Orlando too. 7 (!) hrs later it was cancelled at all. The weather can never be under control, we understand it. But WHAT THE F (!!!!) the flight 2634 scheduled later than ours departed at 9pm the same day! And we were rebooked for July 7th 1:20 am ???!!!! That’s the point of our anger!!! Why did they leave before us??? Initially our departure was scheduled earlier!!! Now we’re rebooked for 1:20am. It’s already delayed to 2:40 am!! It’s not the end I’m sure since the weather in NY according to the forecast will be clear at 8 am only!!!!! What the hell they departed earlier us???? In addition we get texts like sorry the flight was cancelled BUT HOORRAY We rebooked you FOR NO ADDITIONAL COST!!! Oh thank you you don’t charge us for this!!!! ? ?????????????

My wife was coming home for her father's funeral in an ATL-GIG flight. She was very sad by the news. A medical emergency occurred in the air and she, as a doctor, immediately volunteered and helped the person. She didn't want anything in return. She just did the right thing. She cared.
Earlier on the same day we were buying tickets for her father's funeral. Delta offered the tickets for 800 each. After accepting and going through all the process (seat selecting etc). Delta CANCELLED the tickets and "re-offered" them at over 1k (+20%). Delta didn't honor its offer. That's greed. That's very poor business.
Thanks God we don't share Delta's values. We will comfort our families and help people who need. I hope the 400 bucks you made from our misery makes you happy, Delta

Una de las líneas aéreas más tradicionales de los EEUU , el otro día que venía del vuelo de las Vegas a San Diego California ,me topé con un sr muy amable , no solo conmigo , tenía el carisma increíble , que no veía hace mucho , no sé el nombre pero el tipo mostró mucho profeonalismo y eficacia en descisiones , resolvió problemas y buena actitud con los pasajeros , les felicito por tener personal tan amable y repito carismáticos , no sé el nombre pero si puedo decir que era el más mayor de los azafato felicidades @delta

Impossible to get a representative to pick up the phone. Left on hold for OVER 3 hours. Prior to excessive hold times, I used your automated callback service TWICE. Both times, your system wouldn't register my response as it required me to press #1. It hung up on me BOTH times I opted to use that automated service, and both times, it replied that it didn't recognize the option...press 1. I call BS on Delta Airlines service. Get your s#@t together.
