About 4 years ago I travelled with @onelandfilms to the remote Aboriginal community of Brewarrina, Australia. A 13 hour drive inland from my hometown Sydney.
This is a picture of me with Doreen, an Elder from the Ngemba people. We spoke about humanity, the environment, harsh periods of Australia’s history and the incredible wealth of knowledge of the Aboriginal Australians, one of the oldest living cultures in the world. Was total love at first sight.
Today what evolved out of this trip and many more my mum @onelandfilms did, is an inspired short documentary my mum has put her heart and soul into, about our beautiful country and the cultural and social issues we face as Australians.
A positive honest story that premiers tonight on @abcaustralia at 6:30pm Sydney time for all the Aussies !!! #ONELANDdocumentary directed by @susieagoston
