People need to understand revenue and basic math. The MEN’S World Cup generates about $4.8 BILLION in revenue...the World Cup ALONE. The last WOMEN’s World Cup (four years ago as stats are not available yet for this WC) generated about $73 MILLION. That is a huge difference in revenue, thus the women get paid less. Although it isn’t technically a commission type job, the revenue does dictate the ability to pay the athletes. All sports are like this. If you aren’t in demand/popular enough to bring in money for your employer, then you will not earn as much. That’s pretty simple to understand for this woman but whatever works for controversy I guess. As far as mentioning their ages, I think it was just trying to point out that you don’t have to be 19 to excel in this or other sports...highlighting the fact that, even though they are older than ‘the norm’ for a lot of sports, they are still out here performing fantastically. Also, pretty sure they would highlight any man who set a record as the oldest to accomplish anything. Again, though, whatever works for whatever we are raging about today.

Every time the media makes comments about women’s age and dress after they have done something AMAZING - then they should be mandated to make comments/banners with how many affairs men have had, how much they weigh, and their waist circumference after THEY do something AMAZING

Sorry but this aint valid they do put in under males for example every time vince carter steps on a NBA floor they always say he the oldest player in the league but generally speaking we do fail our women but this is a reach right jere

Right Jordan was old as dirt (for a basketball player) and they talked only about his "greatness" . Dominating player is how they should describe this champion!
