reese1283 @heatherrdj I agree those little bottles are wasteful. I travel for work and am usually gone a few weeks at a time. Though it’s still plastic, I run to a CVS or Walmart and just get a normal sized bottle of shampoo and conditioner to use and don’t touch the mini hotel ones. I usually have a little bit left at the end of my trip so I pack it up in my dirty clothes (in case it pops open) and bring the remainder home so I can use it and recycle the containers.

miraz38 You can get bathroom products in bulk pretty often! That seed stuff is nice but really expensive, and as all my fave zero wasters say, you don’t have to buy “zero waste stuff” to be zero waste. Progress over perfection!! Thank you for talking about this so much, you reach SO many people. You rock ?

cparkit75 @nikkip1011 not sure about where you live but here we have these workshops, kinda like paint night, where you can make your own wooden signs. Fun night out and so easy to do. I’m so not creative or artistic...if I can do it anyone can ?

krystalgriswold We no longer buy body wash, dish soap or shampoo in liquid form in favour of locally sourced and handmade body soap, bar shampoo and felted soap bars for dish soap. We prefer the products anyway and they last so much longer!

home_in_history I've been getting my soap (shampoo, dish, laundry, conditioner ect.) at Farmers markets and stands latley... my favorites so far @thehippiefarmer and @tinyforestsoapcompany
