A new London exhibition charts Donovan’s early career from 1959 to the heights of his success throughout the 1960s, in which time he photographed the likes of Claudia Cardinale, Julie Christie, Terence Stamp and Sophia Loren. Often drawing inspiration from his stomping ground in London’s East End, the photographer’s work spanned advertising campaigns, fashion magazines and the music industry.
