areyannaleek @youngejfan I loathe when people talk about slavery as if it’s extinct. There’s still slavery in America, there’s definitely still slavery in other countries. It’s like black people have tunnel vision when it comes to black issues, as if black issues are the only issues that matter. Then wonder why there isn’t this grand exposition to the community or the struggles that black people endure on a daily basis. All due to simple ignorance. Slavery definitely exists today, The emancipation proclamation, was supposed to be the prevention from profiting off from the labor of immigrants, and focused on better treatment and conditions. However, we all saw how that went. Not because Lincoln was down with Blacks, not because the slavery trade was dying. However, we all know that isn’t true. If you look into the history of immigration, and labor laws, you start to really see the truth behind the ending of the Slave Trade.

America was losing business and trade with brown countries and being taxed extremely high amounts because other countries didn't think it was fair for America to make do much money off of free labor. Even still till this day we pay more on our exports and inports than most countries which is why Trump is going into tariff wars with all these other countries because our rates still haven't really changed too much. Because of that Lincoln tried to change the way America did foreign trade. And to start that he had to end slavery because other countries at that time no longer looked at slaves as a commodity. It was a dying business that was only thriving in America. Countries don't get rich through domestic trade. They get rich through foreign trade.

It was lit, white people, black people, muslims, jews etc. Every one came together and APPRECIATED Flancko. We swedes want him to be free more that anything. Please don’t judge 10 million people.
