The day I went from an 800m PB of 2.03.87 to 2.00.67 in Heusden Zolder, Belgium!
Was an absolute honour to race 2 incredible athletes here- the 2008 Olympic champion Pamela Jelimo and the 2008 World Indoor Champion and absolute inspiration Tamsin Manou!
A day I'll always treasure ❤️

I had run 2.03 in 2010 but only 2.05 in 2011. So this was 5 seconds better than I had run the year before. Stick at your goals. The break through will come!

Oh my this photo makes me lactic all over again 😂. All I remember was going with Jelimo at 56 at bell to try run sub 1.59 and dying a terrible painful lactic death. You did very well and ran smartly. Don’t forget @angie_run800m talent doesn’t disappear! Also can’t force it. It will happen just do the right things and stay calm and confident. Lots of ya know how hard it is and lots of us have your back and believe in you! 👍🏻
