Dear Air Canada, 4 passengers (2 checked bags) were supposed to take AC791 on July 9, 2019 to fly from Toronto to Los Angeles to join a tour. I drove them to arrive to the airport at 6:20 am. We went to the check in zone and told the staff they are flying to LA at 8 am. The lady asked us to wait in line for 30 minutes. When it was finally our turn, the check in staff was super slow and only processed one person by 7am. Then she told us the system closed and unable to check the rest 3 passengers. She even checked one bag and charged the fee. She sent us to the ticket office. The lady there was not helpful and misleading. She told us there is no same day flight and she even cancelled the return trip for 2 passengers without asking us at all. We ended up having to spend 3351.64 (YYZ to LAX for 4 people) + 781.1 (return trip for 2 people) to purchase new tickets because there was no other choice. The ticket office lady did not tell me anything about how cancellation works before she cancelled. She only told me after the fact that the travel credit can only go to each passenger instead of me who paid for their fare. The four passengers are in Canada to travel and will likely no longer come to Canada anymore so there is no chance for them to be able to use the credit. We then had to go to the luggage office to get the checked bag back. The 2 staff there did not care and we had to wait 2 hours to get the bag. The way we were treated is not acceptable. If we didn't wait in line for 30 minutes or the check in lady was faster, we would be able to make the flight. The ticket office lady did not help at all and she made our day even worse to cancel 2 return tickets to make us have to spend even more money. The travel credit she gave is useless and she didn't tell us anything about it. We lost $5715.78 on July 9. I request to have our fund back.

Dear Air Canada, I have never experienced such ‘stingy-ness’ with an airline. I flew from Honolulu to Vancouver and back, and couldn’t believe I had to pay to check by bag (its not like the ticket was cheap) You also charge for headsets and blankets! My biggest shock was that you did not provide food of any kind: no meal at all - not even a pack of peanuts. Arriving at your destination starving and then having to find our way to our hotel on an empty stomach was not pleasant. For a country renown for its great customer service- this was a disgrace to your nation. Will not fly with you again.

aircanada@barbardos after the horrible experience I had today with Air Canada from traveling since 5:25 am and layovers that interrupted my layover and made me missed my connecting flight and had me stranded in Barbados. I want to take time to thank AC representatives Brad and Chris at BGI airport for finding a solution and preventing me from losing my cool. Also putting me up at @Barbados Beach Club thank you to the restaurant Manager Dougie for showering us with his hospitality. Thank you all!

I have a flight yesterday that was canceled and rebooked this early morning and I had to drive going to Airport by 2am and didn't sleep , and now I'm halfway in Vancouver and the next flight is delayed 3 times so far for unacceptable excuses! Staff is non supportive, unfriendly and sometimes rude. No one gives good explanation and real apology. A very long flight more than 14 hours and not sure what will happen more. I don't this ongoing experience with Aircanada

@aircanada CHEERS! Thanks for canceling my flight 5 min before boarding time and I had to find out through an email that it was rescheduled 2 DAYS after my original flight. CHEERS for one of your employees being extremely rude to me when I politely asked him if @aircanada will reimburse us for our 2 extra nights in a hotel. Very disappointed with your customer service.

@aircanada dos not cre bout clients. 6 days go s asked to message their customer relations about an overcharge. And now 6 days LTE no responses. They don’t cre they will overcharge people. Terrible #customer relations Horrible #service. @aircanada sucks
