r___u______b_____e____n____ Man who cares if mushu wasn’t in the original this is a remake on DISNEYS Mulan not on the mulan itself without mushu and without the music it’s not the same. They’re not making a movie on the past tale and honestly there’s gonna be a lotta you who are gonna be triggered by this but who cares it’s a dragon so what if it’s a take on Japanese culture it’s fun to watch and makes the movie better.

literal_child_3 the reason lion king is already getting hate is because it’s a shot for shot remake of the original with no creative liberty taken. removing the music and mushu from here is a good sign that we aren’t getting a “repackaging” of a movie we already live but a whole new story where it can be taken as an opportunity to tell a new story with a creative twist on the source material

mjm_unicorn WHERE IS MUSHU AND THE SINGING???? Stop getting rid of the best parts. First the full transformation mode in „Beauty and the Beast“. Why didn‘t we see the Prince‘s face changing? Second, why didn‘t you let Jafa change into a huge snake? And now no Mushu???? What‘s wrong with you guys and the reboots of the Disney classics???????

vicyost I get wanting to tell the story properly. The poem and story are beautiful. But please Disney. Don’t advertise that it’s a remake. Cuz everyone was expecting Mushu and music. Instead call it a Retelling, the word remake just gets everyone thinking it’s going to be shot for shot the same as the original.

mason.hawes5 Question, can y’all stop making live action versions of animated movies you already made and do an original film that requires you to be creative? Because it seems like you guys are running out of ideas and are just trying to snag as much money as possible before you go down ?
