Here’s some root smudge tips from @nickiwildflower to insure that those lines will not poke back through.
1️⃣ Do not put the smudge on soaking wet hair. Towel dry very well.
2️⃣ Use a more opaque Demi over a translucent one. My favorite is @pravana Chromasilk with Zero Lift Developer.
3️⃣ Let the smudge sit for 25 minutes.
4️⃣ Make sure you’re using a level that will blend well with their natural color.
