Some ways I’m making changes in my bathroom routine this #PlasticFreeJuly. Deordorant bar from @ラッシュ, washable bamboo makeup remover pads (which work better than any makeup remover I’ve ever used!) and glass bottle products from companies like @muradskincare @skinceuticals @burtsbees @seedphytonutrients. Oh and bamboo toothbrushes for the kids not shown. Mark and I use electric toothbrushes which is helpful since you only replace the tip once every few months.

I finally got the courage to use jars today for the first time at Sprouts for bulk food. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I feel so much better now knowing that it’s easy to use jars and how to do it ???

I used to buy stuff like this but it got way to expensive for me. I try to reuse, recycle and not waste things. I don’t use a lot of chemicals around my house. I am glad they have products like these though.

You inspired me this month! I might not be completely plastic free this month but you inspired me to try some. I have bar soap in my bathroom for people to wash their hands with. It’s a start! Aha!

I’ll have to find a deodorant bar, I don’t like the lush and I live in FL so I need deodorant. I love the washable reusable makeup remover cloths too! I got mine on Etsy.

You can take the things you have to have in plastic or glass to ANY @origins counter & they will properly recycle it for you. That’s with any beauty items too.

I love that you’re doing all of these posts about plastic free july! Have you found any good plastic free mascara? That’s one I’m struggling with!
