I love the little traditions in my culture that make it so sweet and special ✨ I’ll never forget the story my mom told me when I was little about the 3 cups of tea. We were getting the house ready for company and she said that the first cup of tea served is customary as a welcome, the second cup says ‘stay a while’ and if you get a third cup - well consider yourself part of the family. I grew up in a Kurdish house filled with lots of these little tea glasses. We always had guests over and I loved helping my mom pour the “chai” (tea). I’m grateful I witnessed this kind of warmth and hospitality early on because there’s no greater feeling than loving and serving others. Can’t wait to tell Valentina the story about the tea cup, and I already know she is going to continue the tradition and pour sooo many glasses of love 💞🙏🏽 via my #tintimonial for @livetinted in the shade RISE (P.S. so proud of my friend @deepica for starting a brand that is dedicated to inclusivity & celebrating so many unique cultures. Love you Deeps!) #proudsister #livetinted

I don’t know who read this but I want you to know that you loved. There are people out there that going to make you feel like there is something wrong with you. If it’s your religion, the one you love, the color of your skin or even the way you dress. But let me tell you something : YOU ARE Beautiful ! And what makes you beautiful is that you are different from others. Be unique, be who you want to be. Take out of your life the people who makes you feel like there is something wrong with you, friends and even family because those people don’t know how special you are. And if you feel alone or that life can’t get better I promise to you that it will get better. I hope you will find your happiness because you deserve it ?❤️?

Hey Sazan, did you know that the shine and glitter in your products is created by a mineral called mica? And did you know that this mineral is being mined by children, not much older than your own daughter?

I always enjoy your posts, but this one made me emotional! As an Iranian-American, I can so relate. I gave similar glasses from my parents that I cherish deeply. ?thank you. Azizam.

Sazan it beaks my heart to hear Christians attacked in the church during mass by Kurds...?
Christians are a minority in that village to hurt them is inhuman
