Edited by @alessiaglaviano. More than 6,000 photographs that represent the tightly woven, unbreakable DNA of the continent. These photos were submitted enthusiastically as a response to the “call to action” of the #TheBrightSideofEU initiative launched on our Instagram. This was a natural continuation of the June issue of L’Uomo Vogue, which was dedicated entirely to the European dream. We asked photographers (both professionals and amateurs) to send us images featuring the best things about our continent. We were surprised by the number of submissions and just how good they were. There were thousands of images reinforcing the idea that this dream of peace and unity is not dead, and is actually more current than ever. This just goes to show how what unites us is greater than what divides us. One of the selected images is from ‘H2O Is a Girl’, the photographic project by Valentina Botta summing up all the things that inspire her the most: her sea’s water, girls and their togetherness.
