We’ve been taught that our worth is tied into being a certain size, & this is your reminder to cut that shit out.

But it’s about being healthy! So if you’re either too skinny or morbidly obese u can do something about it while also accepting it at the same time. You can accept where u are at the moment and love yourself while also working on being healthier and better! Its not a mutually exclusive thing that u make it out to be or any of these influencers who promotes fat accepting. You can accept how u look now make peace with it and do things to feel better, fix ur eating patterns and bad habits, deal with your emotional trauma, heal your self from the inside while also working out, but not to lose weight to be a certain weight or to have a specific look but to be solely healthy out of self love! Do not lie to yourself and say you can be healthy at 300-400 lbs. that’s a delusion u try to convince yourself with just like any other thing you’re in denial about that needs awareness and healing from the root problem and not the symptom

It's not about being skinny OR obese, it's about being alive and eating to live not living to eat. People can make whatever decision they want, but abdicating that morbid obesity is ok and not worrying in the slightest is irresponsible, especially when you have so many people following you. Instead of Making food such a central part of your identity, try to make it about you as a person, we are more than the food we eat. We don't have to be skinny to be happy BUT we don't have to be obese either.

I spent a lot of time working with young children. I was always the fat teacher in a world that taught only thin works. A lot of thought needs to be given to body image messages we pass to children especially young girls. My message to the children was always “Your body is perfect for you.” We must be positive about our own bodies so that the people we mentor can be positive about theirs. Love yourself first whatever shape you are and always remember that “Round is a beautiful figure too.”

Your kinda skinny shaming in a way ??♀️ I mean your all ‘ every body is perfect’ but you say skinny is not the life so you only think heavy people are beautiful or like saying I want a smaller slice of cake I’m fat shaming its ridiculous or saying that HEALTHY people that also have amazing bodies are not good looking because they are not heavy or YOUR SIZE this life style of yours is not healthy and I’m just stating #facts

I’ve always been comfortable in my own skin. Until I felt like I was out of control heavy. Some things have become uncomfortable that were never uncomfortable before 10 lbs ago. What’s up with that!? I think the word skinny is sooo taboo!! I never thought I had to be skinny...just skinnier. I still tell myself this. Is that me determining my worth subconsciously? Idk..I’m needing words of encouragement I think....

@rhondasussman might not be a blast a parties, but he’s being real. It’s important to be self confident and love yourself, not giving into societies way of shame and such. But there is also the side where we need to be real and understand that obesity is not healthy, and it should not be promoted. Being “skinny” is not what it’s about, being healthy is. That may be different to each individual.
