Had a horrible experience with west elm. Multiple actually. I bought the Haven seen above and was told it’d be 2-4 ready to ship. It was actually back ordered when purchased but sale associate was confuse, scribbled out actual expected delivery date are wrote “will call when ready.” Called the week before I was told it would be ready to then find out it was back ordered for almost a month longer. Customer Service transfered and dropped my call multiple times to avoid discussing it with me until I ended up going into the store and had to deal with it in person. They were nice and helpful but ultimately I did not receive to couch for almost 2 months after we were supposed to. Kicker of it all though, the couch dented and sunk in significantly to the point that they agreed to work with me to return it for a different couch at west elm after the return date in their policy it was that significant after a month and a half of having. Quality and material of new couch still isn’t the same as the one in store. Long story short, spend you money elsewhere.

@westelm @westelm_bayst worst experience of my life, I ordered a couch and chair 3 months ago suppose to take 6-8 weeks. Initially lost my order when I placed it and had to re-order then took 10 weeks to get here and my couch has been lost and tried to deliver 3 times without it being on the truck. Customer service has provided no solutions and I was suppose to be contacted by management and no one ever reached out to me. I’ve bought several items in the past and never had issues so I am very surprised at how bad this experience has been and the lack of empathy from the company and its customer service.

Please hire new customer service reps. Wasted an hour on the phone today just trying to find out where my furniture actually is. None of your employees could tell me. One argued with me that it’s not west elm’s problem, that I need to contact the third party shipping company. Another told me he was transferring me, I was on hold for over 30 min and then hung up on. The last employee said she will have someone call me with a status update in 24-72 hours. When I spend $6500 to furnish one room, I expect accurate tracking info. ???

If you’re considering ordering from West Elm, DON’T. Made the mistake of furnishing my new apartment with them and have been waiting three months for majority of the items. The few items I have received, have been damaged. Customer service has no idea what’s going on, and completely unapologetic about the experience. Really cute items, but not worth the hassle. Wish I would’ve looked at their Instagram and seen all the comments about customer service before ordering. @westelmchicago @westelm

@rperrinrogers had the same experience on numerous occasion. Delivery issues were the icing on a cake. Actually I take that back. After spending thousands of dollars, we were issued rewards certificates that we could not use online because we are overseas and the site is not supported in Europe so now they have expired @westelm
