So last week you guys told me how much you loved spinach & have all been loving my #VEGEPEDIA on my website. So this week its all about the humble radish!
Such a versatile veg, I think they are delicious sliced in a salad, in a sarnie, whole, dipped in houmous...How do you eat radishes???
Don't forget, even more facts, tips & recipes on my #vegepedia! Link in my bio. #JamiesVeg

Hi Jamie for the past 12 months I have been through a life change hard to imagine.I have gone from a food lover especially Italian with many Jamie book books.I now have Aspiration following intensive cancer treatment.I am unable to eat/drink by mouth. My future is never to enjoy the taste again having now being tube fed directly into my stomach. However looking forward I book all meals for my wife which I love still many of your recipes.I love food posts on here Joe follow many. But I miss tasty Italian inspired food.

Dear @jamieoliver, knowing what a terrific chef you are, I’m really getting inspiration from your recipes and stories. But why, have you been cooking the same thing for a while? Pasta, scramble, kari or puddings. besides these national cuisines there are many more. Perhaps you know little about Ukraine and think that we have nothing to offer the culinary world. But if you want to try our dishes, you are surprised at the incredible richness of taste. Think about it

I eat them exactly as you have suggested; as a child I ate then more often with my grandparents. I ate them a lot more when I was little than I do now as an adult which is a shame, I should eat them more often. I love to eat them on their own or in a salad.??

Yep I add them to salads etc BUT I eat mine with happy memories of me Dad,straight from the garden or allotment being handed one with a smile telling me to just give it a rub,bit of dirt never hurt no-one? well he lived till he was 95 it worked for him ??Jx

I can highly recommend letting radishes grow beyond bloom. The seedpods are delicious. Not pretty. But very crisp and with a light nutty flavour of radish. So yummy by themselves or in a salad. ??
