Continuing my Romanian post titled The Naked Man. I'll explain a phenomenon happening during my trip through Europe. As readers are aware I went to a ruin in Romania called Sarmizegetusa where Rome defeated Dacia. King Decebalus chose to cut his own throat rather than be crucified by the Romans. Research the principals of Colonization. Its responsible for dividing humanity, destroying & enslaving cultures beneath Imperial rule. Its still happening in New Zealand. For the Dacians, I performed a naked (pure form) haka inside a circular temple used for celestial worship, like Stonehenge. As a Maori, not a New Zealander, I was vilified by the press for my "illegal" haka where I haplessly "stripped naked at a UNESCO Heritage Site" Why the condemnation? Too close to my roots or Dacian roots? It has not & will not curb my resolve to find answers to the historical debate over Colonization regarding divisions of cultures & ideologies, the modern world has been "formulated" to render human consciousness under the control of what I can only term as master capitalist manipulation. Beware of all information! This morning a Dacian producer contacted me to discuss playing Decebalus in a production! We are meeting next week in Rome to discuss the project & study the monumets which Rome built from the direct wealth of conquering Dacia, including, if you are not aware, the Colloseum. Yes, the Colloseum was afforded by the spoils of war over Dacia. I've always been interested in ARCHEOLOGY & recently in Italy & Greece I discovered sites that link to an ancient civilization & their religion, which was systematically destroyed & hidden by the Romans & likely the Church. When these temples & monuments were smashed into unrecognizable fragments, its believers were either crucified or sent to the Colloseum to be fed to the lions or die as gladiators. It was more likely these poor souls not Christians. Theirs, like the Dacians, a Cosmic Worshipping culture which I feel spiritually, more than believe because my belief is tainted by education, that these peaceful people once honored this planet & its universal creation, studying the stars, planets & specifically the sun for providing

@manubennett I am feeling similar. I just finished a trip to Italy where I went to Pompeii only to feel overwhelmingly dismayed and saddened by the body of a slave girl, not more than 15-16 already pregnant who was abandoned to die during the eruption because she was merely a throw away slave, her body used and abused at the sole pleasure of her owner then tossed aside. Then on to the Colosseum where again I felt nothing but a dark heaviness permeating the entire place as I contemplated the sand inside and outside as saturated with the blood of countless slaves sent in for the morning sport hunting games against lions and tigers or the young slave men forced to become gladiators, the bloodier the better the Romans wild with pleasure at the death and destruction. I took time to see the art in the Roman catholic churches only to be slapped by a male employee at one without an apology, and roughly grabbed by another employee at the Vatican because I did not move fast enough to suit him leaving me with a hand print bruise on my upper arm. This was christianity at its worst and this is 2019? What was it like in 20 AD then - I would have surely been killed being the inferior sex? My tour guide was mortified, and he profusely apologized but still it happened. Sadly it seems not much has changed between ancient then and modern now. Slavery still exists, and maybe what you are seeing yourself is manipulation, but more likely it's actually suppression/ oppression. My opinion.

I think that your curiosity and desire for the truth is a testament to education. Education is supposed to make us question and seek the pieces of the puzzle that are missing. Trying to determine the effects of Colonization , past and present is a process. Have you ever wondered why you were born in this time? I think for those of us who have a multicultural heritage history takes on a more spiritual meaning. We are here to bring to light the cultures that have been buried for whatever reason. Mostly disagreeing with the conquering power. I come from warrior civilizations, I am Cherokee, Sikh, Scottish and Polynesian. Today to honor past civilizations we fight using knowledge and technology to bring what was buried to light. We must do it with honor by letting go of the anger or hatred that is prevalent when the norm is challenged. I feel you were vilified for your haka because we live in a very secular world. They only wanted to focus on the nudity. It saddens me how much we have lost in this modern world. You spoke to me how much you loved that fountain in Munich and how it spoke to your spirit. It also sadden me to see how some of your own people attacked you here on social media for what you did. For me one of the reasons colonization exists in history is because cultures argue among themselves and this allowed for others to conquer them. You really are a warrior!

Manu it appears that you burn with the quest for truth. When we are ready, we awaken from our propaganda induced sleep and begin the path to righteousness, truth, just like a blossom. You are stripping away the layers of created imagery of how certain entities want to separate us from our Creator. After all, the easiest way to stop a person/people is to convince him not to try as though it was his very own thought. Even the Vatican study that Jesus was an alien. He was /is. He came here. God created this realm. Our essence is not earthly only the boxes that we carry to compartmentalize our knowledge in order to comprehend accept those thoughts and ideas. I urge you to protect your heart and mind on your journey-stay pure in heart-there will be attempts to deceive you but Holy Spirit will guide you in ALL truth. Money is not evil but the root of all evil. The real evil are the lies that are spread like manure for the masses to grow through. Namaste

While I agree with most of your arguments and that the colloseum was built with the wealth of dacia, and not as defending the wrongs done by Christianity over the centuries, this being about religion is not connected, at the time romans still worshipped sungods aswell and had a reputation of adopting religion's from conquered regions. They did however accuse dacians of human ritual sacrifice to the gods as an excuse for annialiating the population of certain towns there. Christians of the time were fed to the colloseum just as much as they were associated with the Jewish rebellion and Christianity wasn't illegalised in Rome until around 313 ad. But to the original point, dacia was invaided and treated so harshly exclusively because of their gold mines which they had alot of and that war continued to fund almost all of Rome for the next 200 years.

i know exactly how it feels when a region loses its culture because of the roman empire. as far as i know not much is known about the culture and believes of the people that lived in my region before the romans „liberated“ it. the house in which my father was born was owned by my family since about 700 bc and we know that because of some ancient deeds but we dont know much about it before this time. my father told me rarely about what he got told by his mother and father or grandparents. i didnt have found any historical evidence that its true but as mentioned theres a theory that a smaller asteroid devastated southern bavaria around the year 0 and you know how the romans treated other believes and cultures. jeez i already wrote to much again. ill tell you the full story if or when we meet the next time, or maybe if you are interested via pm

yet the Roman Empire greatly shaped western culture, knowledge, architecture, mathematics and were instrumental in paving the way for the privileges we grew up with. There is always two sides of the coin.
It is however true that history is and has always been written and shaped by the victors and often refuses to mention the costs of victory.
But yes Empires conquer and slaughter.
To quote Spike from Buffy: "You won. All right? You came in and you killed them and you took their land. That's what conquering nations do. It's what caesar did, and he's not going around saying, "I came, I conquered, I felt really bad about it." The history of the world isn't people making friends. You had better weapons, and you massacred them. End of story. "
