Secret, a sponsor of the US Women's National Soccer team, is now supporting the team members' fight for equal pay. The deodorant brand says it will give $529,000 to the US Women's National Team Players Association — $23,000 for each of the 23 players on the #worldcup winning team. "We urge the US Soccer Federation to be a beacon of strength and end gender pay inequality once and for all," Secret said in a full-page ad printed in Sunday's New York Times. Members of the #USWNT sued the US Soccer Federation in March for alleged gender discrimination.

“In Yemen, a child dies every 10 minutes from preventable causes. For the nearly 360,000 severely malnourished children under 5, any day could be their last. Civil war has brought Yemen to the brink of social collapse. Some 3.6 million people — 2 million of them children — have been driven from their homes by violence.”

Ridiculous gap is trying to be closed... pick an industry where revenue created is equal and pay isn’t. Soccer not the sport to playing the gender equality card. Try tennis ? maybe ..

There’s also a thing call ratings. So some sports etc get paid more because their ratings are hire than others. That’s just the way it goes. It’s not by a gender.
