Sitting here trying to find the words to put on paper. My thoughts are cloudy. Emotions are uneasy. Feeling like my mind is running at a 1,000 miles per hour, with my body going at 1. I ask myself why? Why are you beating yourself up? Is it worth it? Are you worth it? Why am I here?
The questions and uncertainties seem to be endless.
But in the midst of this fog, one thing can not be clearer.
I'm tired.
Tired of feeling like I'm failing. Tired of fighting.
So I breathe. I look at my fears, my insecurities, my so called "failures", the losses, defeats, everything that has pulled me down, and I choose to face it head on. Not by fighting it anymore. Not going against it. Just accepting that this is mines. This is not happening to me, but it's happening for me.
I tell myself, "this isn't where I should be." But the reality is I'm standing at this place...and the only thing left to change is me. So I'm just being...here. Right now. Embracing this moment. Wherever here is, it's without judgements, without comparison. Owning my stories, my darkness, my light, and knowing it is all perfectly imperfect.
Sometimes we go to these places in our lives that doesn't feel right. Times where we don't feel our best and don't understand. It may feel like a setback. But that doesn't mean that it's setting you back. It's giving you a place to regroup. A time to heal. So embrace right now. Wherever and whatever it may be. Use it to redefine who you are. Your worth, your beauty, and everything that makes you human. 💙

euroexile As a 61-year-old, I along with many people struggle to find if I for in or should I be elsewhere, doing something completely different? Please don't let life, confusion, struggles or fears bring you down. I am sure you have read the answer to the question ”how do you ear an elephant?” You do it by eating it one bite at a time. Find out what makes you happy and seek that. Identify who makes you happy and be with them. Don't ask yourself if you are happy, ask yourself if you are unhappy. I am not a religious person but I pray at night until I fall asleep. I don't ask for anything, I use prayer as a mantra. You will laugh but I used to have problems falling asleep, I don’t have those problems now.

joinerpaul We usually are right where we need to be for what we need to learn. Don’t allow all the “amazing” richness already invested and expressed in your life to be diminished by the spaces where love and life is not yet clear. Hold on to what you know is beautiful and look the unknown in the eye knowing you will one day master that too. You’ve got this.
