lolitosinclair I think the song is about her taking a break and not letting other's try to bring her down for that, when she says "people gonna say, if you need a break someone will take your place", probably a lot of people tried to make her quit doing music cause she was taking too much time out of social media and stuff so they told her someone else would replace her... "people gonna try to tell you that you're fine with dollars in their eyes", probably Mel was told to keep working, not taking matter of her health and the overwork they were pushing her into, money is the only thing people care about nowadays, sad but true, Mel is so honest I love her???
