The Justice Department is not bringing federal charges against a New York Police Department officer accused of fatally choking Eric Garner, the New York man whose last words, "I can't breathe," became a rallying cry in the Black Lives Matter movement. "Five years ago, my son said 'I can't breathe' 11 times, and today we can't breathe, because they let us down," said Gwen Carr, Garner's mother. Federal authorities had a deadline of Wednesday -- five years since Garner's death -- to decide whether to bring charges against NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo. US Attorney Richard P. Donoghue said there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Pantaleo acted "willfully" in violation of the federal criminal civil rights act. Members of Garner's family, the Rev. Al Sharpton and several others met with federal prosecutors on Tuesday to learn of the decision.

The liberal media attack on law enforcement continues. You NEVER hear when a police officer is killed reported by liberal media outlets. How many times is the criminal complying with police officers when these incidents happen? I blame their parents for not teaching and raising their kids better on how to obey law enforcement. You people are truly sad and pathetic.

The way police officers in America get away with killing black people is America’s greatest shame.
We all know that if Eric had been white , Daniel Pantaleo et al would be behind bars for manslaughter right now. They chocked a man to death for Christ sake !!!
Disgrace.

If he resisted arrest then I get why he's being restrained but saying I can't breathe 11 times seems as though he can breathe enough to talk. I think

?I think the verdict was right. Yes it was terrible & unfortunate. Yes he killed him (and the family deserves the $) but it was not intentional.
