#Netflix is doing something they've never done before: They're going back to edit the very controversial suicide scene in #13ReasonsWhy. Thoughts? (📷 : @ネットフリックス)

Nothing but snowflakes. Suicide is REAL. It’s disturbing. It’s messy. It’s an EPIDEMIC. It needs to be talked about, that’s the exact POINT of the entire show. To shed light on a very real and scary world we live in. Taking it out is just hiding the truth. There were countless trigger warnings. No one was forced to watch anything. The premise of the show was very well known and if you are triggered by such things you shouldn’t have watched it. Stop sugar coating the truth for a bunch of SNOWFLAKES. One of the reasons many people don’t speak out is because the minute they do, they’re silenced. They don’t feel heard. They aren’t taken seriously. Which is another thing Hannah Baker struggles with in the show - she was ignored. Taking it out is doing exactly that. @netflix do better.

Hey did you ever think that maybe this show wasn’t made for your entertainment? The show purpose was to raise awareness and to offer help to those who are going through this stuff every day! That’s reality! And if you can’t handle reality then don’t watch the dang show! The beginning of each episode clearly states what it’s rated and that it’s for mature audiences only!! Episode one you know she ends up killing her self in the end. And the incidents leading up to her suicide were just as hard to watch. Traumatized? Yeah, that’s the point!! Stop being so ignorant and maybe these people wouldn’t be so ashamed to speak up. Snowflakes.

People in this comment section really have lost their mind. Yeah, it was watched by millions, but there’s going to more people who’ll watch it and i don’t know about you, but i don’t want any more people to get horribly affected of it, because i know how it’s like, i literally felt so horrible after i watched it and it stills haunts me and thinking about it leaves me with a terrible feeling. It’s only a good thing that this things gets edited. This scene shouldn’t have been this brutal! It was TOO much!

To me the bathroom scene was more graphic than the suicide scene. So if one is being altered so should the other. I’m tired of walking on egg shells and skipping around the truth and reality of suicide and bullying. WHAT WAS SHOWN IS REAL LIFE!!! STOP SUGAR COATING IT. parents should be more aware what they are letting their kids watch. The show clearly states in the beginning of each episode that it is not suitable for most audiences and viewer discretion is advised. What more do you want???

I think it’s good. There was a giant spike in suicides when this first came and many were throughly upset by it. My friends say they should keep it in and just make sure parents know what their kids are watching, but in this day and age you can’t control a thing like that, and I’m sorry most parents arent great at parenting to stop them from watching it. Good for Netflix. We don’t need to see the graphics to get the conversation going. And it’s great that we have!
