I usually get one surf trip a year despite my ongoing obsession to be out in the water for the last 20 years. Lucky to get in a second trip this year w an unlikely confluence of friends.
Unbelievably fortunate and thankful to @healeywaterops, @the.rabbits.foot @thetorpedopeople @jeffjohnson_beyondandback @jon_rose for sharing their knowledge and stoke. Awesome to see everyone in their element and sending it. Felt good to be the student again...except when I was getting pummeled 😂
Here are a few pics from our first day paddling out at an outer reef…getting lined up, getting caught inside and getting a few. I don’t know what you call it in surfing but in climbing we call it getting sandbagged.

Nicaragua is a beautiful country. So sad to see the Nicaraguan government killing its people or putting them in jail. For Protesting! It all started last year April 19, 2018. Please don't support the Nicaraguan government by traveling to the Nicaragua. We have travel back since this all started. 😥
