vpetrucelly If you want equal pay do these 2 things. 1. Fill stadiums every game 2. Get more tv views Don’t be mad that men are payed more because if you look at stats it would make sense. Men’s teams are more skilled so people would rather watch them. Also the men actually play more games. The women’s World Cup has like 24 teams (not 100% sure) and the men’s World Cup has 48. This means there will be more games which means more games will be on tv and televised. Also the men’s World Cup is more prestigious. Not only is it more than half a century older, There are about 200 men’s teams and way less women’s teams because unfortunately a lot of women in other countries don’t get rights (which is another reason why they should be grateful they are payed anything to play a sport) bc of this the men’s World Cup has to thin out 200 teams to 48. There are no 13-0 Thailand teams in a men’s World Cup, the best of the best play in it which leads to usually about 10 different favorites to win the cup and leads to more people wanting to watch it

ethanndowney I agree it should all be = but who plays better players and better teams. We gotta look at the facts before the numbers when someone scores a goal are they doing a Rapinoe celebrations or they doing a Ronaldo Messi celebration. Men soccer is simply better in terms of icons and quality of pay. If the USA men’s team played the USA girls team the men’s team is winning and we all know this. It also has to do with sponsors and advertising the woman only get 1 month to shine and that’s the month everyone pays attention to them other that no body cares about woman’s soccer we know this it’s not supposed to be negative it’s just a fact. Men’s soccer is watched way more. I’m trynna not to hate but this is just dumb and silly. If the woman think they deserve they need more money than how about they replace team USA men team in the men’s World Cup and see if they could beat the other national men’s team than we gotta talk other than that there really isn’t anything to argue than equality but to me it’s pretty fair

mattnino9 Everyone keeps complaining...nobody knows what they are talking about.?its just because no one watches the Women sports. Mens sports are watched and gone to more so its nothing to do with equal pay. We shouldnt just give the women players equal pay if they arent generating the view ratings or ticket sales and so forth. Men earn what they get payed because of how many people watch and go to their games. Women world cup team gets 13% while men gets 9% so they actually get the higher percentage of stuff. The women team doesnt have the extra money for that pay because they dont have any money generated for it??
