sneakerpimp27 @westelm @jnfrlynn1111 DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WEDT ELM!!! I bought a dresser last year online. They delivered it. The dresser was scratched. The delivery guy literally said NP I can pair it with this pencil! I was like srsly no! I’m not accepting it. Tool at least 3 weeks to get a refund. I stupidly gave west elm a chance and this time bought a bed $1300+. Since it wasn’t delivered by the time promised and the sales person who sold the bed never called I figured I’d cancel and get a bed elsewhere. Called the store to get a refund and they basically said sorry you have to call customer service to get a refund!? Wait ! What! I came in to your store and you are now sending me to customer service? Ok I told the mgr I came in to store and to issue me refund she said no. We placed the order online for you. It wasn’t a store sale. I called customer service they said they can’t issue me a refund because they are waiting for their vendor to ship another part. Once that’s done then they can issue a refund. Wait !? What! @westelm I don’t have the bed. Issue me a refund!!! You had no problem charging me for the bed but now you want me the customer to wait until next week to make sure you get the product in stock from vendor aka you paid them so you don’t want to issue me a refund in case they don’t deliver!!! That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!!!! You want me the customer to wait and take the hit if you don’t get the bed from vendor!? Are you serious!!! They told me they are putting it on tickler file and prob won’t issue the refund until next week wed? Are you for real!? I don’t have the damn bed!!!! This is my money! I am beyond words!’ Like do the right thing and issue me a refund ! I don’t have the bed and should not have to wait until next week Wednesday then still have to wait for the bank processing! I am reporting you to the better business bureau and will cal @nbcchicago to do a report on how you run a business! They have a segment on this type of stuff! Shame on you.

joshuakaltreider I’ve had nothing but good experiences with west elm.. The one time I had an issue with an order, It was a ceramic planter, which is fragile mind you, upon arrival 1 of the 5 was damaged. We sent them a photo of the cracked pot and west elm shipped us a new one right away. If I read further into some of the comments above it’s sounds like a bunch of children whining about how the world isn’t perfect. You’re not spending 12k on a (1) lounge chair (which isn’t out of the ordinary for a client to spend on some of the projects I’ve worked on) you’re shopping at an affordable modern design store. Adjust your expectations to the price point, keep it professional if a problem arises durning shipping, and work towards a solution.

heyjacobgann Don’t buy online from them. They will charge you twice and cause you to have to talk to 5 customer service reps who all say different things. If only West Elm spent as much time on their business and customers as they do for taking pictures, maybe they’d have a higher score at the Better Business Bureau ( it’s 1 star).

jnfrlynn1111 Don’t ever buy anything from this store!!! We bought a table and chairs. We received our chairs right away, but have been charged twice for our table and no one knows where it is! Every time we talk to a customer service rep we get a different story.
