@1_800_get_rags Patriotism is liking your country. I said RADICAL nationalism which was essentially what created Nazism. Also, religion is only a sick separating force that has caused nothing but war in thousands of years especially when each one thinks themselves superior. The reason America is so great is we have religious freedom and are not forced to bow down to any religion including christianity, catholicism, Islam, etc. Plus, those founding fathers of yours made the consitution into a living document because they knew their ideas would not always hold up in the future. And guess what? Morality isn't only enforced by religion. Also, the free market and capitalism is a beautiful thing except for when corporations become tyrannical and start destroying the lives of their consumers and workers which is exactly why Roosevelt developed anti-trust laws and suits to take down such monopolies that were essential corporate tyrants. The right has rarely ever condemned their radicals they're always defending them no matter what they do. Trump himself said he thinks some neo-nazis were good people. I myself an an independent but the hypocrisy that exudes from the far right is just as disgusting as the far left, even more so. Between your racist neo-nazis and their snowflake antifa you both look like supreme idiots especially with such idiotic ideals. sUpReMe uNliMiTeD pOwER cOrPoRaTiOnS aNd cHuRcHeS = gOoD, bOoO AcCoUnTaBiliTy = bAd ?

@fammerson and I said the right isn’t radically nationalistic, btw nazis were socialist if you didn’t know. And the 3 biggest killers in history, who in total have over 100 million dead because of them... Hitler Stalin and Mao, were all not religious. The many wars in chinas history weren’t religious, Rome conquered not because of religion, the crusades were Christendom defending themselves from war like islam fundamentalists, capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system by an order of magnitude, since all other systems make poverty, remember congressman King who said white nationalism isn’t bad, he was condemned heavily, trump didn’t say neo nazis are good, he said ‘there were some good people on both sides, no I’m not talking about those neo nazis’ you realize that now I hope, I hate the far right dude, the left embraces the far left is the difference. I believe in the free market, de regulating business makes more prosperity. You are ignorant of many things it seems, such as trumps Charlottesville comments, read stuff before you ramble, I greatly encourage it

@1_800_get_rags You are the one that is ignorant of what freedom is. I suppose you'd like to outlaw atheism because of the acts a few were not religious? A few small examples don't make up for the rest of history, either. You can't pick and choose. Never argued against capitalism either, only unchecked capitalism. I do agree that there is far too much regulation on smaller businesses and more bigger ones however multiple business have been caught practicing in immoral and illegal practices that can only be stopped by the government. If it wasn't for them they would have already polluted the Earth far more than it already is. As for the Trump comments, I know exactly what he said and he was wrong in many aspects especially considering how a man ran over protesters with his car. That entire situation arised from such an idiotic premise that both sides looked like complete idiots.

@traynor.ww [cont.] take a look outside your US-centric media bubble and get an idea for what is going on in the world. This national-enemy mindset is leading you toward giving up your civil liberties, starting with the free press. And the same dynamics are being played out in fascist-leaning countries all over the world. And by the way, regarding your snarky "read a book" comment, you are talking to a historian who has published multiple books on Russian history so I might have some idea what I'm talking about. Don't pretend that you are any more educated than any other basic American psuedo-intellectual when all you're doing is parroting the talking points of Democrat pundits. It makes me embarrassed for you.

@traynor.ww and by the way, the current administration has been WAY more aggressive toward Russia than any other administration since the Cold War ended. Trump has been antagonizing Russian interests in Syria and imposed sanctions on Iran, a Russian ally for example. It's dangerous stuff! The Russian govt is not happy about it. But y'all spent two years claiming these two governments were in cahoots. It's nonsense to anyone paying attention to geopolitics. What isthe Russian govt gaining from this alleged conspiracy? Nothing. This administration has been a disaster for the Russian government. So you need to be a lot more specific and actually decide who are "the Russians" you are talking about.

@aleksander_mishchenko I fully understand your point. Being an indigenous person, my people are often call "drunks" or "gambling addicts" and it's a "joke," but I'm not laughing. In fact, we are still called "Indians" but we are not from India. My point is that I meet a lot of ignorant people worldwide who do not travel, or do not appreciate other culture or language. They do not personally know people from other cultures. They think perpetuating a stereotype is just a joke. But it can also be deeply hurtful and insulting. It is sad that now it is used for political rhetoric. I agree with what you are saying. People in power should use their platform to educate the masses. ?
