Shiseido President & CEO Masahiko Uotani becomes the first chairman of “30% Club Japan”. It was founded in the UK in 2010 with the aim of increasing female representation on company boards and this May, officially launched in Japan. At Shiseido, 45% of board directors are female, reflecting the company’s continuing promotion of women's empowerment.
