This morning was one I will cherish for the rest of my life. After staring at this tiny island for nearly 6 years on google earth maps it felt like an out of body experience to finally step foot on its distant shores. A sunken Volcanic caldera where fresh water meets salt water & hot springs bubble out of of the ground. A vibrant breeding ground for arctic Fox & more bird species that I can count. For a brief moment we felt a bit like the Lost Boys in Neverland. Every one of these islands needs a border guard permission to visit, It wasn’t until the last minute that we got approval. Thanks 🙏🏽 .
