Like most women I have some love/hate feelings about my body. I’m proud of my curves, but sometimes I feel like having them makes me feel like I can only be seen as ‘hot’ or ‘sexy’ (aka slutty/bimbo/vulgar/hoe).. but not beautiful, or graceful or angelic or elegant. I feel weird making statements like this because I’m aware that by being a conventionally attractive white woman I possess a very large portion of the pretty privilege pie- I just wish every woman in every body was allowed to feel each facet on the spectrum of their bodies being appreciated and we weren’t all categorized by the shape and size of our body parts. We all deserve to be celebrated for everything that all of us inherently are.
