BMW M135i xDrive 5-door: Fuel consumption in l/100 km (combined): 7.1 - 6.8. CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 162 - 155. The values of fuel consumptions, CO2 emissions and energy consumptions shown were determined according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers optional equipment and the different size of wheels and tires available on the selected model. The values of the vehicles are already based on the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to ensure the comparison between the vehicles. [With respect to these vehicles, for vehicle related taxes or other duties based (at least inter alia) on CO2-emissions the CO2 values may differ to the values stated here.] The CO2 efficiency specifications are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the European Regulation in its current version applicable. The values shown are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle for the classification. For further information about the official fuel consumption and the specific CO2 emission of new passenger cars can be taken out of the „handbook of fuel consumption, the CO2 emission and power consumption of new passenger cars“, which is available at all selling points and at https://www.dat.de/angebote/verlagsprodukte/leitfaden-kraftstoffverbrauch.html.

I get you also have to move to an economy of scale with a cheaper model available with front wheel traction (even if XDrive is still available), but it is quite disappointing to see that we lose the 50:50 weight balance (with an engine too much ahead positioned) and a pure 3 liters 6 cylinder engine: this is the soul of a real BMW “Freude am Fahren“.

@hannahsallism The products and services offered by the BMW Group reflect the specific requirements and sales opportunities in each market. Since the US has never been a "hatch" market and interest in a BMW-brand vehicle concept of this kind remains limited, we have decided not to offer the BMW 1 Series in the US.

Bmw should be ashamed for allowing the realization of a front-wheel drive platform for its Series 1 and 2. Bmw has lost its differentiation from other manufacturers in addition to having a perfectible reliability. Shame on you. Driving pleasure? No more!

@evan_1.93 The worldwide market launch of the BMW M135i xDrive will be in September 2019. As the availability and pricing may vary per market, we recommend that you contact your local BMW dealer directly. They will be more than happy to help.

@bmw the reason I’m asking is because my company are ordering me a company vehicle which is a 1 series but I don’t know which one it will be. Only ordered it today and been told delivery estimate of around October-November
