I mean two years ago I probably couldn’t spell algorithm! I’m going to chime in here on the @Instagram @facebook “likes” debate—-I say good bye likes! Let’s focus on creativity and creating content verses trying to check out how many likes we’ve gotten every 30 seconds and feeling some totally superficial satisfication or failure from that... as companies, individuals, people... post what you are proud of, what you want to share with the world, what you want to share of yourself, what you want to inspire others with....and forget the likes!!

chrisuphues Once we realized the posts with less likes actually brought us more success in other ways, we had to let this insta stress go. It’s still weirdly painful when something I’m proud of is rolling on 103 likes after 7 hours so I have to remind myself - in the 90’s it was hard to get 100 people to even see my work ?

kenzie_rosser I've never focused on likes, just that I'm having fun and that I'M proud of what I post :) Followers on the other hand were problems on other accounts. I would focus on my follower count :(

metalrokjewellery Couldn’t agree with you more. So glad the likes are gone, it was embarrassing sometimes to see how many likes id get. I feel freer to create and just be now. Pressure is off.

sweetpotatochronicles Thank you for this! I hate the feeling I have when a picture (recipe) I create, test, test again and again, painstakingly shoot and then post isn’t liked enough.
