raciechloe My take on his ‘Be Yourself’ motto. He was able to be himself n fought for it on the show. But american idol is a karaoke show n when contestants sing originals, there are penalties for that. I heard idol owns it n gets profit from their originals sung on the show. It shouldnt happen IMO. Idol clearly discourages singing originals. Can anyone clarify rules on originals?

He didn't need anything but his own music and songs, you knew he was special. Thank you for scouting him and encouraged him to stay true to himself.
