Bikini or maillot? That's usually what separates choosing one kind of bathing suit from another, but swimwear designer Maayan Sherris (@sherristhree) is proposing a third way. Launched in 2016, her line, Babes in Bathers, blows up the traditional notion of swimwear beyond the trendy itsy-bitsy proportions, with pieces in her new collection that are not too far removed from an everyday summer wardrobe. The pieces hold up when it comes to performance as well, just ask the surfers who have wear-tested Sherris's suits.
