i’m not sure i can express how much it meant to me to be at the @oitnb final season premiere last night. to have the honor of being a small part of such an iconic show will always be something i’m hugely proud of. stepping into a long-running and extraordinary show like this is strange because yes - it’s a family that you’re not really a part of. and yet it really was a great experience thanks to the phenomenal people behind it. grateful to @jen_euston for asking me to make a self tape, grateful to @elizaann360 for making it with me, grateful to @ijnej and the whole team for inviting me to play Zelda. last night at the premiere it was announced that in honor of this show and the work they’ve done in shining a light on the prison experience, particularly what that means for women - they’ve created the Poussey Washington Fund to raise money which will go directly to ten organizations that are helping those in need. what a way to honor this show long after its final season has been seen! link: crowdwise.com/pwf 🧡
