Show me one law book that defines the term illegal immigrant. It is a made up term used by xenophobes to describe desperate and marginalized people who simply happened to cross into this country at a place that wasn't an official port of entry, probably because they don't know the exact location of said ports of entry or because they had already traveled a vast distance and couldn't make the extra distance. Most of them turn themselves in to CBP, which is not the behavior of a criminal. Also, to say these people are criminals is simply wrong as they do attempt to follow the law, and request asylum (which CBP denies them and then locks them up). You are an ignorant, fascist twerp. Also "quit telling grown a*s adults what to do" isn't exactly something you should say, given I wasn't telling anyone what to do; I literally said "a lot of celebrities use their social media to spread their political agenda", and said I disagree with that. And right after that you said that I only don't like it because I disagree with it, "No other reason." You have no proof of it, and it isn't true. I disagree with it because it makes a lot of people stand behind an agenda they don't even know, just because it's the opinion someone famous.

scotadabro @spider_saibot not America's job to babysit the rest of the world when all these latin american migrants are coming from countries we had a direct or indirect hand in helping support regime change in. Take a look at what countries we helped stage coups or support authoritative right wing governments in and what countries the migrants are coming from. There is a correlation here. Our cold war interventionalist policy and decades of political and economic policy that backed it are the direct causes of the migrant situation right now.

I said “it’s just weird, seein’ as how most of the people that put ‘god first’ are the ones that have trouble with being judgmental.” Not sure what you’re readin’, but I don’t doubt that you could name a few equally harmful side effects of various religions. Religion itself usually carries with it plenty of conflict, and seein’ as how this thread is more or less centralized in the United States, it makes sense that the biggest offender in the religion category would be Christianity.

the_goode_talk It's not immigration that the president has a problem with. It's just illegal immigration that he's against. He also has said that the people that immigrated that have done their part in contributing to this country are what makes this country great. I hear the argument about illegal immigration hundreda of years ago, and yeah it makes sense. That was also hundreds of years ago though and no one living today was apart of that so yeah
